Um, I'd donate anything, and I suppose I'd like them to try whatever they could.

[There's no hesitation or doubt in his voice.]

Probably. It's the sort of thing hospitals tend to have. Just...our parents aren't around, you know? And even if nothing ever happens, I don't want to think about strangers making those calls for me.

[ Izuku's working his way through his (still kinda bland) soup. Hospital food isn't exactly top chef cuisine. ]

I really do like it spicy now.

[It's hot and it's not just water. If he really wants more spice, hit up the chili or chicken and noodle. Miso is normally a blandish soup anyways.]

There's hot sauce packets by the silverware.

[ It is. He just likes Katsuki's propensity for seasoning things. ]

I'm almost finished anyway.

[Seasoning makes things taste better.]

[ That sounds better. ]

Yeah. Which do you want?

[Chili, chicken noodle, vegetable, miso.]

Um...spiciest combination you can think of.

[ Chili and vegetable maybe? ]

Okay.

[Katsuki pushes himself up, finishing his own bowl before he leaves, and sweeps Izuku's up with him.

In a few minutes, he returns with their bowls, steaming with a mixture of chili and vegetable soup, with a shot of hot sauce and soy to make it extra flavored.]

[ Thanks for trying to save the soup, Katsuki. Izuku accepts it gratefully, shoveling some vegetables into his mouth. ]

[seeing him shovel it in brings a small smile to his face. He'll wipe it off the second Izuku notices though.]

[ Katsuki's safe. Izuku doesn't notice, focused on the food. ]

[That's the most he's been focused on food he's seen all month. Katsuki lets his knee rest against Izuku's.]

[ He hasn't really cared much this month about food. Normally he just eats whatever Katsuki makes anyway - occasionally makes requests, but not too often?

He's a simple eater anyway. But he likes the warmth right now, even if it's a bad situation. ]

[Katsuki's glad he's in the hospital, warm and getting fed, with the prospect of getting his wounds treated or at least looked at in the future. It's a positive for him. He's content to stay here and eat in silence, keeping some of that contact up between them to keep the synchrony going.]

I'll make some katsudon dumplings later.

Really? You always say it's too much fat.

[ Because katsudon is like Izuku's only standard request. ]

Nothing is "bad" for you so long as you don't eat it all the damn time.
