[He stands in the doorway for a long moment, looking him over, and then nods, smiling in a strangely tired way.]

[It's something, at least. Tenya hovers a moment before doing as he's told, sitting stiffly and watching him make tea with a slight frown.]

I really ought to get one of those myself, but I don't make tea as often as I possibly should.

[Maybe getting an automatic kettle would help that. Iida stop stalling.]

[ Soon enough he's made the tea and he's serving Iida his cup...! ]

I don't think there's really a required amount or anything.

[Whoa there, slow down, he's supposed to be the speedy one! He accepts the cup, smiling briefly and then staring at the tea for a long moment.]

...No, I suppose not. Sit, hm? This is possibly a bit strange of a thing to bring up.

Is...everything okay, Iida-kun?

[ He's taking that seat, but you're worrying him. ]

I should probably be asking you that. I looked over some of the group discussion from while I was away, and... Kaminari-kun seems to have overstepped.

Izuku demures with a smile. ]

It's not a problem, really...he did back off in the end.

[His eyebrows raise.]

From your reaction, I'd say it was absolutely a problem. [A beat, and he frowns, looking at his cup.] ...I'm glad you said something to him, regardless.

[He watches him for a long moment in silence, and then reaches across with the hand he's not holding his tea with, very carefully setting two fingers against the back of his wrist.]

No, but it still shouldn't have been said. Call me stuffy all you like, but ensuring you are safe and comfortable is something I hold myself accountable for not just as your Class President but as your friend, as well. That extends to things that bother you in a less than physical sense.

[That earns him a raised eyebrow.]

...Midoriya-kun, in what way does our having been through something invalidate your comfort level? We should all be comfortable, and I'm sure Kaminari-kun didn't mean any harm, but I'd have figured he had the sense to understand not to go where he did. You didn't experience the things we did, it isn't right to effectively force them upon you anyway.

[Big sigh. He recoils his hand a moment, shaking his head, and then sets down his tea in favor of holding out both his hands, palms upward.]

You are absolutely impossible, you know that? Give me your hands for a moment.

He'll set his own tea down and give Tenya his hands, somewhat hesitantly. ]

[He's just gonna squeeze Izuku's fingers a little.]
