[Katsuki's a lot more narrowed now, focusing on Izuku's reflection in the window. This is not something he's heard about before... Or did and doesn't recall. Did he say something about the dream thing?]

[ Izuku shakes his head. ]

He tried to burn me up while I was sleeping. I let him hit me some, but I had to make it look natural so he didn't freak out. He did want it to kill me in real life, I think, but that's not really how it works.

[ He doesn't sound that concerned about it. It's not the first time his dreams have been invaded, but Katsuki usually plays a bit nicer. ]

[Oh, so it was a dream thing. Katsuki's attention remains irritated, but not really at Izuku. The guy couldn't do anything about dream invasion. But that might mean Katsuki's devil is going to be a little more protective of "his territory" the next time he transforms...]

What the hell does that mean? Why didn't you just kick his ass?

[Letting Dabi hit him and trying to make it look natural? Izuku's strong enough and fast enough to end someone like Dabi before the guy could even really get going. (And does Dabi even have the capacity to "freak out"?)]

Physical contact makes it easier to synchronize, even in a dream.

Hard to think of that guy trying to physically punch someone... He's like a burned up scarecrow.

[Katsuki's pretty sure he could lay Dabi out with one right hook.

I had to slow down a bit.

[ And ignore danger sense. It's not something he usually does. Izuku rests his temple against the window. ]

I prefer your invasions though.

[Katsuki goes silent. He usually tries not to think about how his devil thinks. The guy's a lot more free with his feelings and words. Ticks him off.]

Mostly for synchrony or bothering you. Your dreams can be fucking weird.

[ That devil still hasn't been totally free with Izuku (yet)? Izuku shrugs, though. ]

[Eh, Devil Katsuki is more open with "Lets fuck, lets fight, lets go make some trouble" than his counterpart is. He's not someone who sits down and has heart to hearts with people about things Katsuki won't speak about. Not that kind of open.

He's far more willing to talk about what he likes about Izuku and finds attractive about him? So that's something.]

Yeah. You dream about All Might sometimes. How's that not better?

[ He does like that. Devil Katsuki is extremely into him and Izuku appreciates it. And usually goes along with it. ]

I haven't really this month.

[Devil Katsuki's into Izuku. He's into a lot of people. Way less picky than Katsuki. But more pushy in other ways as well.]

This month's fucking sucked.

[ Izuku likes to think the devil likes him best but really...he also gave Katsuki a blank check of permission to wander through his head. ]

A lot more fighting than usual.

[Feel free to ask him next time you see him, Izuku. The main question is whether or not you'll believe his answer. But Devil Katsuki tends to take that blank check as he likes.]

Kind of reminds me of home. All of a sudden, everything from underneath erupts.

Not really. People don't like the gembonded and the political heads are having a power struggle. The Ruby Underground has most of the criminals with their own gang rivals.

All three of those things hit in one week.

[Then again, Katsuki doesn't ask for the details about this place or even the villain gripes from back home. Understanding villains hasn't yet become something he tries to do instinctively.]

So far it hasn't turned society upside down.
