Why do I have to fucking change? I'm sleeping in this damn bed and can't get out of it except to take a piss.

[He can sit up and stretch a little, but supposed to stay put for the rest of the night till morning. Give his body time to heal.]

Oh, um, you don't have to. Just if you want to.

[ Izuku always kind of hated having to be in hospital clothes for long stretches of time, but if Katsuki doesn't mind, he doesn't mind either.

He starts doling out Katsuki's food order. ]

I don't.

[He's only in half hospital clothes. And he's taking the stupid "shirt" off as well. Nurse'll yell at him later, but whatever. He's bandaged and it's not coming off.

Sitting in just his pants and bandages, he takes what Izuku offers him.]

[ He got them drinks, too. Water or bottled tea, whatever Katsuki wants from the selection.

Izuku digs in, having dragged a chair over. ]

[Water's fine, but he'll keep a tea on the side just in case. Probably going to run through both of them because he feels pretty parched.

Chopsticks broken and he goes into the food. Hey, this is pretty good.]

[ It's definitely higher quality stuff, though not insanely so. Izuku got some fruit sushi too because he...likes sweets and gimmicks. ]

[Fruit sushi sounds good. Katsuki's occasionally had it cause it's not the sweetest thing. Still, the things Izuku got for him were good. Spicy. Crunchy.]

[ Izuku definitely stays away from Katsuki's order. He can handle spice - especially since Katsuki cooks for them a lot - but he still naturally prefers things just a step less spicy.

He...didn't eat lunch today, so he's eating a lot, though. ]

[He's held back on the spice when he cooks for the two of them, not forcing Izuku to eat something he'll be sweating tears over. That or he'll make a spicy and a bland version.

Noticing Izuku chowing down, however, Katsuki arches a brow.]

What'd you do, starve yourself for groceries?

Uh, I skipped lunch?

[ If he sounds embarrassed about it...he is. It wasn't on purpose. ]

Why?

[Not sure why he's embarrassed about it either. A lot of people skip lunch.]

I just keep forgetting to eat recently.

[ A shrug. When he's really focused on not thinking about things he gets...

The hell are you focusing that hard on?

[There's hardly anything here that demands that kind of attention!]

It's... [ Well, partly their fight. Partly other things... ]

...I was just distracted?

Make a fucking schedule and stick to it. Sheesh...

[Why is that so hard for people?]

I normally do. I've just been thinking a lot about us, you know?

[ And he's bad at emotionally multitasking? ]

You do that all the time...

Okay, first of all you probably won't be [ Maybe ] and second of all it's different here!

[ He has new and exciting things to stress out about! ]

You're missing meals cause you're stressing over me.

[And yet he says "probably" to his face.]

Well...I'm mostly not stressed out right now?

[ They fixed...some of it. ]

[Ironic consider he's injured.]

[ Yes but Katsuki is sitting up and being grouchy and letting Izuku stay with him. Katsuki asking Izuku to stay is absolutely throwing a dog a bone. ]

I'll...talk to you about all of it someday?

[Right. Like how Katsuki'll talk to him someday.]

Hmph. Don't skip your fucking meals.

[ Eventually he'll probably explode and perish, who the hell knows. ]

I'm eating now, aren't I?

[Deku used Self-Destruct; it's super effective! ... on himself.]
