[So long as he's not going to bring it up, then Katsuki doesn't planning on broaching the subject at he moment. He looks out the window with him, not feeling the urge to bring them away from it.]

[ Being alone together with someone can change things. Izuku thinks it does depend on the people - he doesn't really think his own trajectory with Katsuki would have happened with just anyone - but...he also does think it forced them to work out some compromises they might not have done as quickly otherwise.

If Katsuki had been given options...but, well. Shinsou had been around and they'd still moved in together back then. ]

Their biggest point of contention is here. That...makes it difficult, probably.

Psh. [Katsuki scoffs at the very idea.] Unless they were locked in a room together with a "no killing" rule, it's not fucking likely.

[Dabi doesn't want anything to do with his little brother outside of killing him or hurting him. If there's any chance of reconciliation, it's not here. Not like this. A lot of what's gone between him and Izuku had been forced by other people. Aizawa and All Might to name the main instigators. Thing is, Dabi doesn't have someone he respects enough to listen to and begrudgingly, but ultimately, making those changes. The man respects no one but himself and that's not going anywhere in Katsuki's opinion.

Without Aizawa and All Might, hell, without the teachers in their class, Katsuki would never have wanted anything to do with Izuku and likely would've gotten even worse by hating him even more the stronger he got. It took someone else, and force, to get Katsuki to confront himself and start making those changes.

(Shinsou also had a Really Close roommate, so moving in with him or getting him to move out wouldn't have happened even if Katsuki had thought of it.]

Dabi's his own point of contention. He'll never get over that.

[ Not gonna test it or anything - because, you know, he's not that kind of person. The civilians here can though so... ]

It's true he mostly seems to want to hurt us. I think it's the only way he can get manna though.

He tried to burn me up while I was sleeping. I let him hit me some, but I had to make it look natural so he didn't freak out. He did want it to kill me in real life, I think, but that's not really how it works.

[ He doesn't sound that concerned about it. It's not the first time his dreams have been invaded, but Katsuki usually plays a bit nicer. ]

[Oh, so it was a dream thing. Katsuki's attention remains irritated, but not really at Izuku. The guy couldn't do anything about dream invasion. But that might mean Katsuki's devil is going to be a little more protective of "his territory" the next time he transforms...]

What the hell does that mean? Why didn't you just kick his ass?

[Letting Dabi hit him and trying to make it look natural? Izuku's strong enough and fast enough to end someone like Dabi before the guy could even really get going. (And does Dabi even have the capacity to "freak out"?)]

Physical contact makes it easier to synchronize, even in a dream.

[Katsuki goes silent. He usually tries not to think about how his devil thinks. The guy's a lot more free with his feelings and words. Ticks him off.]

[Eh, Devil Katsuki is more open with "Lets fuck, lets fight, lets go make some trouble" than his counterpart is. He's not someone who sits down and has heart to hearts with people about things Katsuki won't speak about. Not that kind of open.

He's far more willing to talk about what he likes about Izuku and finds attractive about him? So that's something.]

[ He does like that. Devil Katsuki is extremely into him and Izuku appreciates it. And usually goes along with it. ]

I haven't really this month.

[Devil Katsuki's into Izuku. He's into a lot of people. Way less picky than Katsuki. But more pushy in other ways as well.]

This month's fucking sucked.

[ Izuku likes to think the devil likes him best but really...he also gave Katsuki a blank check of permission to wander through his head. ]

A lot more fighting than usual.
