Um...no, but ignoring the past...I don't think I'm really a great target these days. I don't get angry that easily.

Actually, his usual shaky smiles and stubbornly just getting back up probably used to piss Katsuki off too. It was never "fun". ]

Hey... have you noticed there's a lot of worlds here that outclass us?

[ Izuku nods, then shakes his head, then...clarifies. ]

While some do, I think when it comes to "lots"...there's a lot of people here older than us. I'm pretty sure All Might in his prime would be able to go toe to toe with a lot of people we can't handle - same with Endeavor. Seventeen actually seems to be on the young side for the demographics here. Granted, there are a lot of places with more complex power systems as well, but I don't think outclassed is really the right term? Or at least...I think it's just the same kinda proof we got every time we went up against someone too much for us. It just means we have to get stronger. Even that limit that might exist back home has been raised here. Not everyone bothers to learn the ins and outs of gem magic, after all, because they rely so heavily on their own powers...

[ He's talking too fast again. ]

[Katsuki's quiet for a while, the rambling bringing some of the old annoying comfort back as he listens. Yeah, some of what Izuku's saying is right. And there are others whose Quirks would seem like a cheat code right out of a video game. But the idea of being outclassed by his opponents in strength and skill... it bothers him a lot.]

I've been training with a woman who can cut "anything". First time we fought, she severed every nerve in my body from the neck down. Fifteen fucking minutes.

[Then there are people who have no problem throwing a fucking car across the road and that's just cause they're strong. No 'ability' about it. For someone who's grown up thinking his Quirk and power are the greatest thing the world's ever seen, it's... unnerving. Similar to seeing Todoroki's power for the first time and realizing, Katsuki Bakugou wasn't the pinnacle of the fucking world.]

I think there's a gap between different worlds. Some people can do things we only saw in the comics back home. [Little kids dreaming up powers that outclassed anything a normal Quirk could do.] It's weird... I wanna fucking crush them all.

[ Yeah, that tracks. ]

Power isn't everything, Kacchan. That just means you have to get creative, doesn't it?

[ After all...there's something to be said for a solid strategy. ]

Power doesn't just mean strength. Power can be the whole package. But I don't intend to stop learning.

If we're "outclassed" in one way, it just means we need to come up with new ways to combat that.

[There are things he has doubts on, but as Izuku said, if they can't fight it one way, they have to learn another. They could never take on All Might's full strength, but they still managed to stall and win.]

[ The sarcasm gets an aggravated huff of air, but Izuku shuts up for the time being. He assumes this is some sort of dumb Katsuki issue where he has to have the last word even if it means rephrasing whatever Izuku just said.

Best to let the injured party win. ]

[Katsuki smirks at his huff. Victory. Even if shit one. Something he only bothers doing with people he kinda sorta gets along with without saying it. The hospital's already in front of them, so at least that's happening.]

You don't have to stay the night if you don't want.

[ Well of course he doesn't,
although if Katsuki's banned him from home... ]

...okay? I can crash with someone else. [ He's assuming that's a brush off, anyway. ]

It's up to you. I told you to stay, but if you don't want you, you don't have to.

[It's not a brush off; it's a release. He knows Izuku was thinking about doing something... away, earlier. So he's letting him know he can and he won't bitch at him.

[He knows Izuku has the same drive, the urge to DO rather than wait. He wouldn't want to be stuck in somewhere either.]

[ Just checking on the house, probably, unless Katsuki invites him to cuddle or something unlikely like that.

He follows in though, but allows Katsuki to do the sign in so he doesn't get scolded. ]

[He's not fucking cuddling in a god damn hospital bed. YOU SHOULD KNOW THAT FROM ALL THE TIMES YOU'VE BEEN IN ONE OF THOSE DAMN THINGS!!

But he gets himself signed in, chalking the injuries up to a training session that went fucking wrong. Izuku can come with him if he wants or wait. For now, Katsuki's grumbling and heading off with the medic to go get treated.]

[ He doesn't expect it?? And definitely won't ask. He's tagging along so long as he's allowed and Katsuki is awake though. ]

[He's allowed after Katsuki clears him as someone he actually wants to be with him. But it's gonna be a bit. There's definitely some more in-depth cleaning and a few curses as the wound gets disinfected. Still, the medicine and sealing of the wound is a lot more high-tech than their own. They more or less "glue" his skin back together and encourage the hole in his arm to regrow. Much like they did when he first arrived with Shigaraki's shish-kabob wounds.

By the time he's bandaged up again and resting, it's gonna take a chunk out of his stamina and strength, but he should heal up with little if any scarring within a day or three.]

[ Izuku tries to keep out of the way but does sit as nearby as he's allowed. Maybe tries to engage Katsuki in conversation when the doctors aren't speaking to distract him? ]

[He gets his conversation, but boy is it surly. The nurse has no problem carrying on her job while the two talk. She also seems to have no problem wrangling Katsuki and simply blank faces any yells or sass.

You know, in that "I've too much shit to care about your attitude, twerp" sort of way.]
