(Not too long after, the sound of their front door opening is quickly followed by the telling patter of paws tapping across the floor. The growlithe is rather hefty with dense fur. About as big as an akita, about as fluffy, but much wider set. It was a big growlithe and she was instantly curious about her surroundings.
Katsuki had already picked up on the fact that she seemed smarter than normal dogs by a landslide - which is saying something.)
(They will be able to make three Zeroes by the end of her first month in this house.
She perks up at the sight of Izuku almost immediately, her tail wagging. There's evident intelligence in her eyes and she looks expectantly up at Katsuki with something not dissimilar to how someone often looked at Katsuki.)
It is. Go ahead. You can say hi to him.
(With a bark, she bounds over to Izuku, tail wagging and she comes to a slow stop just in front of him.)
She's hyper-intelligent. She was making actual decisive choices and was helping me solve puzzles in the tomb. (He is 100% bragging about his fur baby.)
(He watches Izuku and Zero silently, something achingly gentle on his face, gaze soft. It's one of those rare moments where it's hard to imagine his face twisted up in any sort of rage.
He doesn't interrupt the moment. Just watches as Zero (unsurprisingly) immediately decides she likes Izuku. She doesn't even go for the treat. Just tips her head at him, then barks excitedly, tail wagging annnnd Izuku's getting a face full of kisses.)
(It's not the word he means to use but it slips out all the same. He moves to squat down near them, smiling a little despite his best attempts to not. How can he not smile? Look at them.
(AKA he appreciates his concern. He reaches out and pets Zero's back, feeling distinctly proud. He whips his phone out and snaps a picture. Of his new dog and maybe a little of Zero.)
(Well.........he fumbles his relic back out and that means Izuku gets to see that he's already changed his wallpaper. He sets the relic up and shifts towards Izuku.)
Erm. Where do you want me? (This is like the first selfie they have taken together in- uh. Ever?)
(He moves around to the other side of Izuku and huddles up close against him. His tails naturally fluff up behind him. He tips his head so they could all be in the picture. Zero pops up between them, barking and it's surprising enough that Katsuki winds up snorting, grinning the exact moment the picture is taken.)

I mean, in theory, right? There's normal tech here. Maybe at the School of Thoth they might have some colored printers.
